My happiness is seeing myself and my family make contributions to society. Together as a family we serve in our church and community working with our city mayor and several non-profit organizations. In-between work and service, one would say I love doing outdoors activities such going on long mountain bike rides, hiking, or playing two-man sand volleyball.  As a youth my family moved every three years so I see myself as being very accepting of others and adapting quickly to new surroundings. I love music and taught myself how to play the guitar. I’m the lead guitarist for my band, called Tapestry Drive.  While attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, I met my spouse, Tricia. We have five successful, smart, beautiful children: Nicholas, Ansley, Tayla, Melia and Brielle, who are furthering their collegiate work becoming ambassadors of their own lives.

My first plans for a degree were computer science, engineering or architecture. After marriage, my wife and I had a profound moment that clearly directed me toward a medical path. I graduated from Weber State University and became a Respiratory Care Partitioner. Continuing schooling, I graduated NYC Excelsior College and became an ICU Nurse before heading to Missouri State University where I finished a Master of Science specialized in Nursing Anesthesia. As far as my artistic side, I still continue writing music, and poetry.

For fifteen years I have been working as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I enjoy administering anesthesia acting as a liaison between patients and various medical practitioners, and surgeons providing the best anesthesia care. I am contracted to work at various hospitals in trauma, newborn, labor and delivery, as well as surgical centers, and reconstructive surgeons, ketamine clinics and orthodontics. What makes me happy is knowing I can provide relief to patients during surgery.
